Echo from the past (just kidding)

Hey y'all! I'm William. A lot of you already know me. Chances are, if you are in MAP or ESC or the Leo Club, you know who I am. If you don't know me, it isn't all that important (I'm not all that important really). I'm just another AP English 11 alum who's dropping by to lend a helping hand. If you want it.

So here it is. I know what's going on; I have been in your position before, and I live on to tell the story! I've blogged, I've read, I've AP-Tested, and I've survived Fletcher's class. And I am only slightly wounded!

I've been reading your posts, examining your comments, and noticing your hesitation. I want to tell you that's okay. Or it was until now. That portion of the blog is over. It is now time for you all to take the plunge into the world of rhetoric! I promise it's not so bad.

The Point: I'm here to lend support. I'm here to provide some knowledge. I'm here to give you a little push into this material. BUT! I'm not here to force my ideas down your throats. I'm not here to give you all the answers. I'm not here to tell you exactly what to do. It is just a little guidance, a dash of constructive criticism, and a pinch of subtle humor (too much of that last ingredient can ruin the taste of this rhetorical stew). That's what I offer to you, Future AP 11 Students.

This is my post; if you have questions, comments, or anything you would like to share, comment here. If you pose a question, I will answer it here, and if you seek advice, you will find it here. It's a magic post!

I believe that's it. I'm going to be posting from time to time to give a little insight. I may even comment on your posts if the mood strikes, or if your post is brilliant, or if I think you have missed the point. I'll be around.

Keep pushing those brains of yours! This class challenges you to think in a new way. Fletcher calls it "AP-style thinking"; I call it "real-world thinking." So give it a shot. Post your ideas, do a little research and get involved with each other. Think individually, work collectively.

Good Luck to you all. Comments welcome. I shall check in on you soon.
