Technology Watch

This discussion of data mining looks both menacing and interesting. Probably a way for some of the better mathematical minds to become very wealthy; the implications are sinister, but the math seems cool. Reminds me of the guys out in New Mexico working on the first atomic bomb. It was a fascinating problem to solve -- but once solved, it changed everything.
